guyonphone
Hello, I am using needo/plex docker, and it is saying it is out of date, displaying an orange banner. It wants me to download and perform a manual install. What is the best way to resolve this? Thanks! Link to comment
bonienl
Stop and start the Plex docker, it will automatically update (you can open the log to see its progress). Link to comment
guyonphone
Ha! I feel so dumb. You know I specifically did not try this, because I clicked the "Check For Updates" button, and it didn't say it had an update available from the unraid interface. I did as you suggested anyways, and of course it updated. Thanks Bonienl Link to comment

If the author made changes to it you'd see it here. If the author built in a way for the program to update (either on startup or thru the web-gui) it won't show as an available update. That one confused me for a bit when I was first here Link to comment
