June 25, 201511 yr Anyone had any success with this? I've found some docker repos that have PlexConnect but I can't get them to show up in my container list even though the repo urls are listed in my docker repositories. Using unpaid 6.0.

What do you mean by that? Have you added the container after you've added the repository to the list? Also you have to make sure that every entry in that repo list is on a separate line.
June 25, 201511 yr Just did a little digging, and if you're trying to use PlexConnect from Needo (gfjardim's repository) then it will not show up. While the dockerization of popular applications thread (http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=33822.0) lists plex connect as being within the repository, its actually not. The only PlexConnect currently available is in pducharme's repository (https://github.com/pducharme/docker-containers/tree/templates) Support Thread: http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=37058.msg343017#msg343017
June 25, 201511 yr Author Using unpaid 6.0. Perhaps you should pay for it [emoji14] sorry, couldn't resist Ooops - haha. I have pro. I found the link to pducharme's repo and I'd added it to the list of repos as usual (one per line) but it doesn't appear in the template list. The only other thing I found was: https://registry.hub.docker.com/u/needo/plexconnect/

(is there any chance you've got an old version of dockerMan installed?) That link of needo's is a direct link to his docker hub repo, and it won't work directly with unRaid unless you manually enter in ALL of the information (repository, etc) in the add container wizard (basically you'll be making your own template) All of the current unRaid template repository links can be found here: http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=37958.0 or better yet, install this plugin and forget about repositories altogether: http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=40262.0

I tried to install your plugin and got: Warning: simplexml_load_file(): /tmp/plugins/community.applications.plg:1: parser error : Document is empty in /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix.plugin.manager/scripts/plugin on line 193 Warning: simplexml_load_file(): in /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix.plugin.manager/scripts/plugin on line 193 Warning: simplexml_load_file(): ^ in /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix.plugin.manager/scripts/plugin on line 193 Warning: simplexml_load_file(): /tmp/plugins/community.applications.plg:1: parser error : Start tag expected, '<' not found in /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix.plugin.manager/scripts/plugin on line 193 Warning: simplexml_load_file(): in /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix.plugin.manager/scripts/plugin on line 193 Warning: simplexml_load_file(): ^ in /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix.plugin.manager/scripts/plugin on line 193 plugin: xml parse error
June 25, 201511 yr Try manually giving your server a DNS address (network settings) Use 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 (google's DNS servers) If that solves the plugin install issue, then it'll more than likely also solve the issue with using repositories. Then it'll be your choice how you go about installing the containers. Either with the helper plugin or via repositories.
June 25, 201511 yr Not sure then. Every time I saw those errors on the forums manually setting a dns solved it. I think something is interfering with unraid being able to contact the outside world. Solve that and your problems with repositories will be fixed
June 25, 201511 yr Author All good in the end. Manually created a container and got PlexConnect to work. As for the repos, two of the url entries has a trailing slash at the end. Removed those all the list updated. Thanks for your assistance!
