jeffreywhunter
I'm setting up my directory tree structure and wondering about 2 options. 1. All Shares across all disks - benefit(?) could be that (for instance) files are spread all over the place so the chance is pretty good that a file access (ie a movie) would come from different drives when multiple movies/files are being accessed (so less demand on the drive). 2. Groups of disks set for shares - All movies would be on Disk 1 and Disk 2 (for example). Benefit(?) - fastest disks could be chosen for high volume files. Am I thinking about this correctly? Or is there a better strategy? Link to comment
