UPS not shutting down

I have just bought a APC pro900 ups, i have plugged it in and enabled the APC UPS Daemon on unraid V6, it is seeing the runtime and battery data fine, however, i tried unplugging the main to simulate a power cut. In the top right hand corner i kept getting red notifications saying it was running on battery, then that the time limit had been exceeded and it was initiating a shutdown. The status of the UPS then said shutting down, however the server never actually shut down. Am i missing something? has something not been setup correctly?

 

Any help would be incredibly helpful.
