sgraham884 Posted June 30, 2015 Share Posted June 30, 2015 I currently have a server running v 5.0-RC16C. It has been running without issue hence I never upgraded. I need to install some additional drives so figure now is the time to upgrade. I have read the wiki and a number of posts regarding the upgrade process and am still a little confused on the best way to proceed. Can I just proceed with the upgrade as outlined in the wiki or should I first upgrade to the latest version of 5, and then to version 6. Thanks in advance! Quote Link to comment
RobJ Posted June 30, 2015 Share Posted June 30, 2015 Just use the wiki, upgrade straight to the current v6 release. This topic may help you break it down into steps. If you aren't in a big hurry to add those drives, I would upgrade first, and once fully operational with v6, then add the drives and format them with XFS. Quote Link to comment
