First off, kudos to the devs for all the excellent work behind the scenes :)

Looking to build my first home NAS, a 20TB system :) Can someone enlighten me on these file systems? ReiserFS/BTRFS/XFS? Which is the most stable for my purpose? A home system to store movies/photos/music and the odd documents with a cloud back up. Any light shed on the issue would be lovely  ;D

The default is XFS. ReiserFS is legacy and BTRFS is more complicated and potentially problematic. None of the things you've mentioned would benefit from using BTRFS.  I recommend XFS.

+1

Unraid 6 defaults array disks to XFS and cache disks to BTRFS. I would follow this approach when building out a new server.
