My shares show Media as unprotected by redundancy

I use a cache drive.  My cache is single drive only.  My Media share is shown as unprotected.  Could it be because my cache drive is part of my Media share, and cache drive is single?

That is expected behaviour if there are currently files on the cache drive that have not yet been moved to protected storage on the main array.  If mover has run and all the files are now on the main array it will turn green.  It would also have been green if you had a cache pool as then even the cache would be protected.

If you click on the folder icon at the end of the line displaying a share name you can see which disk(s) hold folders/files.  This allows you to easily see which folders/files are currently on the (unprotected) cache drive.
