sshd_config - does this get generated during each boot?

trying to disable root access and I notice the file is replaced at each boot up. I don't see sshd_config located in /boot/config/ssh. Is there another location where the original is kept?

save your changes to /boot/config/ssh - this get copied as /etc/ssh during sshd startup.

only generated host keys get copied back though.

 

cf /etc/rc.d/rc.sshd
