for two months ago i got hold on a second hand controller

the brand is LSI

when did buy this controller i had in mind to flash it to IT mode since i have a WHS-2011 running and i need some more driver space

i use softeware Raid Driver Bender on all my 8 disk

 

i have not had the time to flash the card so i decided to do it yesterday that is when i found out that this card has two stickers back on the board

 

1 saying that the card is a 9220-8i and another one saying 9240-8i

  that is when i got confused.

 

the card it also came a  M5000 Key

 

i need to run this card in passthrou since i run software raid

so i wonder what kinde of options do i have with this card

 

i am also planning to mount 4  3TB disk and i wonder if this card is compatible with 3 TB or above
