Unable to access Main Menu

I had a drive fail recently and I pulled it from my system. When I restarted, I was unable to access the unRaid Main menu in Firefox with my normal bookmark which goes to //unraid/main.htm. I was able to show it by going to the ip address directly 192.168.0.102. The workgroup is correct and I can see my shares and mapped drives in windows explorer.

 

I can access unMenu without a problem, but even there, when I try to access the unRaid menu screen it does not respond.

 

Does anybody have any idea on how I can fix this?

If I try just //unraid  I get a screen that says Wait... surrounded by a border.

Are you on a PC, or a MAC?  It all sounds as if the name server on your network still thinks the unRAID server is on a different IP address.

 

Reboot your router, reboot your PC, see if the problem continues.  If you hard-coded the IP address in the "hosts" file in your PC, it might be pointing to a different IP address than current.

 

If you still have an issue, post your syslog. Perhaps it will show why the normal "main" page cannot be accessed.

I'm on a PC and you were right. All I had to do was reboot.
