August 1, 200916 yr just doing a large file copy, and noticed that dhcpcd is using quite a lot of CPU, sometimes as high as 25%. Is that normal? I thought dhcpcd would just get an ipaddress etc on startup and wouldn't really have to do anything after that. Some top output below: PID USER PR NI VIRT RES SHR S %CPU %MEM TIME+ COMMAND 1598 root 20 0 12824 3596 2776 R 27 0.4 0:45.48 smbd 1174 root 20 0 1728 236 156 S 16 0.0 0:27.86 dhcpcd 1301 root 15 -5 0 0 0 S 9 0.0 83:33.65 unraidd 1675 root 20 0 0 0 0 D 4 0.0 0:00.17 pdflush 224 root 15 -5 0 0 0 S 1 0.0 0:01.04 kswapd0 Cheers, Justin
