Cache Drive Full

Featured Replies

Hi,

I just installed unraid on an old pc with a working copy of windows on it to test it out, thinking that unRAID would format all the drives itself. When assigning the drives I selected one 1.5TB for storage and a 120gb SSD as a cache. The 1.5TB HDD asked to be formatted, however the 120GB SSD just became a cache drive. The problem is; it is almost full with 99.1mb of free space. Has unRAID simply reserved the ~120gb of space or is it failing to see the windows install still on there?

Thanks,

Unraid does not reserve space for cache drive use.

It will only use what you tell it to, such as docker.img, or vm images.

Is there a way to format the drive from the web gui?
