SOLVED -- Replaced Hard Drive now "Access Denied" to Tower/server

Featured Replies

I replaced  a 2TB HD for a 4TB HD. Now I not able to write to the server/shares or individual disks "access Denied". I'm also missing some tv and concert collections.

I've run the permision utility to no avail. :-\

Im currently in version 5 will upgrade to ver 6 once this problem is resolved.

Please let me know if I can provide you with any further info.

Thank You!

The syslog only shows the startup so I assume it was captured after a reboot.

Can you tell us more about how you did the rebuild? Maybe post a screenshot?

Correct. THis is when I gave up and decided to ask in the forum.

Performed Parity Check, then shut down the array, replaced HD, rebooted, system found HD and rebuilded without user input. took about 24/48 hours to rebuild.

I have two screenshots one of the original array and access denied screenshot :-\
