July 19, 201510 yr I'm trying to transfer files between my Ubuntu PC and my UNRAID PC and am unable to do so. I can do so transfer files from my ubuntu PC to UNRAID from the Unbuntu PC and I can I do it from the Windows PC to the UNRAID box. But I of course don't want to have to ever access my unbuntu box so how can I fix this issue? Thanks! tower-diagnostics-20150720-0043.zip
July 20, 201510 yr Community Expert Not completely clear what you are trying to do. Are you trying to use your Windows PC to transfer files from Ubuntu to unRAID? Or are you trying to transfer files from Ubuntu to unRAID without using your Windows PC? Or do you mean something else? The Unassigned Devices plugin will allow you to mount shares from other computers on your unRAID server. That could allow you to access your Ubuntu files directly on your unRAID server.

Not sure why it's not working.
July 21, 201510 yr Author Is anyone able to help with this? Also, now I can't copy files from my Desktop to my Unraid server? Thanks in advance this is really prohibiting me from finishing my server up. 0x8007003B GEtting this error code too now. Really worried because NO ONE so far that has gotten this error code in unraid in any of the threads I've seen has gotten this fixed. Server basically is read only now Edit: Works from laptop and Ubuntu. Will NOT work from desktop? I had to add this all to my hosts file to even see these files? July 23, 201510 yr Author Anyone have any insight into this? I found this:http://www.networksteve.com/windows/topic.php/Windows_8.1_Network_Share_0x8007003b_Error_Copying_Files/?TopicId=65483&Posts=0 But I feel like if there was an issue with Windows 8.1 and using network shares then we'd have heard about it by now. And the other problem is that this isn't an issue that I ALWAYS had. I transfered 7 hard drives worth of data to my server. Then after that, I'm no longer able to access the server or do anything. The one thing that has changed is I removed the PCI-E card I was using to add more sata ports. I don't see how that would effect my ability to transfer files though.
July 23, 201510 yr Author For anyone suffering this problem check y our adapter settings. I had a network bridge setup however, I had removed my Ceton card that I had been bridged with. Messed up everything! Hope this helps someone else lol.
