July 21, 201510 yr I've got some issues with getting into my Plex server once I create it via Needo's repository. I was able to get into this before, but am unsure what changed to cause my issue. When trying to access the WebUI from the dashboard, it opens a new window like usual, and then says no data received. Log from the Plex docker: *** Running /etc/my_init.d/00_regen_ssh_host_keys.sh... I can post screenshots, I just didn't want to over load this with unneeded image files to start with. Any help would be appreciated.
July 21, 201510 yr Author I've attached an image of my config for Needo's Plex Docker and my network settings.
July 21, 201510 yr My Brother has this same problem, cant get to the web app local, but can remote from plex.tv. All his player devices on his net see and stream to just fine. I do not have this problem - spent about 3 hrs trying to figure it out yesterday with no luck. It was working for him and then stopped. I renamed his plexmediaserver folder to *.save and restarted plex and the web app came up fine in a new config. My only conclusion is something corrupted that the web app needs to load...... He is gonna start with a fresh library folder this weekend.... Myk
July 21, 201510 yr Author I don't really have a place I can upload them to so I can just link to them, so I'm stuck with a 192k limit this forum puts on the total picture size, sorry. My Network settings are as follows: Bonding: Enabled (two cables are plugged in) Bonding Mode: Active-backup(1) Setup Bridge: Yes Bridge Name: br0 Stp: Enabled IP and DNS are all set to configure automatically. Docker is configured to a 147 GB 15k SAS drive, /mnt/disk1/docker.img. Size is 20gb Plex Docker settings are as follows: Container Page: https://registry.hub.docker.com/u/needo/plex Name:PlexMediaServer Network Type: Host Volume Mappings: /config /mnt/user/appdata/plexmediaserver Read/Write Access set /Movies /mnt/user/Movies Read/Write Access set The only thing I changed from the default settings was adding the /Movies mapping. I am not sure really what the issue is. Let me know if there is any more specific information I can get to make diagnosis easier for anyone looking at this. Thanks *edit* I don't have a cache drive/pool at all. Just 4 sas drives for now, all set up as pooled storage.
July 21, 201510 yr Author Interestingly enough, I cannot even get Lime Tech's plex container to work. I even removed the second ethernet cable, disabled bonding and tried installing Lime Tech's copy of plex. Same response, "No data received, unable to load the webpage because the server sent no response." It also quotes an "ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE" message. It shouldn't matter, but I am using Chrome to access my unraid server.
July 21, 201510 yr Author I've never really messed with Docker before, how do I do that exactly? Turn Docker off and then back on and respecify the docker image size? Delete the containers and images for those containers?
July 21, 201510 yr The problem is likely with your config folder. Try these: https://support.plex.tv/hc/en-us/articles/201119258-Resetting-System-and-Framework-bundles https://support.plex.tv/hc/en-us/articles/201105343-Advanced-Server-Settings
July 21, 201510 yr Author I've gotten to the directory for Plug-ins. I got there using putty to telnet in, but now it is not allowing me to delete the folder. Using the rm command it gives the the following error: Cannot remove 'System.bundle' : Is a directory...... How can I delete these folders in telnet as using file explorer errors out with a permissions error.

Delete the containers and images for those containers? Stop docker, remove or rename your plex config folder, then restart plex - it will recreate the folder with a default setup Myk
July 22, 201510 yr Author I just removed the whole plex media server directory using the mc command and started completely from scratch. It's working now under Needo's docker container. I haven't been able to find out for sure, but has anyone seen if Lime is closer to being able to get the plex pass versions?
