High CPU usage

Running 6.01.  CPU usage is showing high in GUI, but htop shows not....  When this happens, GUI is almost unusuable.  I have suspicions that its Qemu, but cannot confirm.

 

I understand that my memory usage is high.  My Win7 VM has 2GB allocated, so this is fine.  I have an 8GB kit on order.

 

Where do I start?  This is sporadic, and im not sure how to reproduce.  It just happens

    So TOP shows my WA% at 95.  So I am obviously over-stressing my cache drive.  Would this cause High cpu?

    I appreciate everyone's feedback on this issue.  I have upgraded my cache drive to an SSD and increased RAM to 8GB.  Problem seems to have gone away
