July 24, 201510 yr Hello everyone. I am new to UN-Raid and I have been running version 6 for a 2 months now. My question is this. where do I go to do software and patch updates to un-raid? How do I insure that I have the latest version? Any help or instructions on how to update the software that would be great.

Any help or instructions on how to update the software that would be great. When you say you have been running v6 for some time - is this the 6.0 final release or a beta/release candidate? New releases are announced via posts in the Announcements section of the forum. For v6 updates you can go to the Plugins page and click Check for Updates. If there are any available for the unRAID OS then this will be shown there plus the option to apply the upgrade. You can also set up unRAID to automatically check for plugin updates at periodic intervals, and to send you a notification if one is found.
July 24, 201510 yr Community Expert Thanks for your reply. It says V6 RC6 I think that should be recent. enough to support upgrade via the plugin method. If that does not work you will have to use the manual method as detailed in the Release notes. The current production release is 6.0.1, and there is also a release candidate for 6.1 (although you may not want to rush into using that).
