VM xml backup / location

Hi,

 

This may be a stupid question... But i have been wondering where the xml files for the VM's configuration are stored.

I have a couple of them, some with custom changes. I'm not really keen on restarting the work.

 

It would be nice if i could backup them, saving me the hassle of redoing everything.

I did not find anything on the flash drive.

    good question, i'd like to know too. right now, i'm just clicking on edit xml on my VMs and copy/paste to a separate text file.
