August 11, 200916 yr After 2 years of running Unraid faultlessly, it started beeping last night during a large file transfer. The transfer was not affected. The beeping pattern was a bit random and chaotic. I looked at the web page, and a couple of drive temps were in the 50`s. Would this be the cause, or does it only beep for CPU temp? I am running 4 disks with no parity, in 4.5beta 6 and a gigabyte mobo. Thanks
August 11, 200916 yr Many mobos have alarm settings in the BIOS. The alarm could be 1) CPU Temp, or 2) a fan speed too low.

I've seen expensive raid cards do this, but not a motherboard.
