Accessing unRAID web GUI remotely

Featured Replies

Hi everyone! I've been trying to figure out how to reach my unRAID box remotely to access functions like deluge and sonarr while away from home. Reading a couple of threads everyone has suggested setting up OpenVPN on the router and use that to connect in. My router does not support so I actually used docker to run OpenVPN and everything seems to be working.

However how do I access them once I am connected to the VPN? What IP address am I suppose to use. Really confused at this part, hopefully someone can shed some light.

Thanks!

Once you are connected to the VPN it acts just like you are on your network at home.  You can access the server via IP address (never looked into getting DNS to resolve).

By IP address of the server you mean the local 192.168... IP?

Yes
