Webgui Freezing

Featured Replies

Hi I am having a problem with webgui freezing on me and I don't know what  the problem is, I am n newbie with unRAID. I can be working away and it just freezes. When I open a telnet session  and do htop it shows the cpu running at 100 %. This is the second pc I have tried because of the same issue. I was wondering if it could be the usb key? Check out the attachment any help would be nice. Thanx

Just wanted to add a few more details:

1. This is the second PC I have tried

2. As a result of the crashing I upgraded from 4gb to 8gb, still get web interface crashing with emhttp sat on 100%

3. I don't have any dockers running

4. All my drives are XFS

5. This is pretty much a vanilla install

The only thing I can think of at this point is my USB key. I was going to try another USB key but with the limitations on the free key it won't let me change for 30 days. Does anyone have any advice?

I think the boot flash drive is unlikely to be the problem since it is successfully booting. Other than boot, unRAID only uses the flash to read/write configuration changes.

Have you tried a memtest?

Log looks clean.  Only way I've ever come close to doing anything like having emhttp crash is clicking from one tab to another before letting it load.  Then it gets sometimes in a weird situation while its trying to accomplish everything.  When I've done that, usually I can get it back by closing the browser and reloading it, or temporarily switching to another browser.
