Preclear questions 6tb WD Reds

Sorry, I searched but couldn't find any answers specific to my questions. I'm building a new Unraid box and its been a while since I had to add drives so:

 

2x 6tb WD Reds - Is there a specific way to clear these? What options are needed?

 

Last set I had to think about were the "EADS" and "EARS" and I have some 3TB "EFRX" reds also.

Some had to be cleared to do the 4k alignment (all of them?) And I thought some didn't. Now i'm confused as to how to preclear each type for the best performance. This will be on v6.01

 

Can anyone lay this out for me quickly?

None of that matters on drives >2.2TB

 

Just make sure to use the latest version of preclear.

For my EADS/EARS do I do the 4k alignment on both types? (they're 1.5tb drives)

 

Once this is up i'm thinking of pre-clearing and bringing those over, trying to fix all the "wrongs" from my installs from years ago so I'd like to set those up properly too if they pass tests.
