I'm still working on getting my unRaid 6 installation completely configured. My next to-do is APCUPSD.

 

I've been searching for a How-To for setting up unRaid 6 as Master. If anyone knows of one I'd appreciate a link.

 

I'll be setting unRaid as Master with one of my Macs as Slave. Do I need to install any other packages to get this working? I've already installed Powerdown. Maybe I also need SNAP?

 

I've never used APCUPSD so I'm a total noob at this.

    I think NIS is on by default with APCUPSD so you shouldn't need to install any other packages or anything.

     

    What you need to do is configure the APCUPSD software on your MAC to look for NIS signals.

     

    This might help you figure it out.

    1. Tap the lock icon next to the address bar.
    2. Tap Permissions → Notifications.
    3. Adjust your preference.
    Chrome (Desktop)
    1. Click the padlock icon in the address bar.
    2. Select Site settings.
    3. Find Notifications and adjust your preference.
