Permissions problems with Mac and Kodi

Hi,

 

When I download a file with my iMac and copy it to the unpaid server 5,0 beta 9 than Kodi (XBMC) can't read it.

When I run the new permission option everything works and I can play the file.

Is there a work around for this.

I already tried NSF SMB an AFP that didn't help.

    I have no experience with Mac or Kodi, but that's a rather old version of unRAID, a beta version too.  Why not upgrade to v5.0.6, then run the New Permissions tool, system wide?  Then check again, see if it's still happening.

     

    At some point, we recommend to all users to upgrade to v6 (the Upgrading to UnRAID v6 guide).
