August 11, 201510 yr Community Expert I have 12 disks in my array. I can access 10 out of the 12 disks from my Windows PC over network (i.e., by typing \\local-ip\disk1, etc.). Unfortunately, I cannot access 2 disks over the network. No clue what's wrong, but getting the following error message: "\\local-IP\disk11\MOVIES_02" is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this network resource. Contact the administrator of this server to find out of you have access permissions" Any thoughts? Thanks in advance!!!
August 11, 201510 yr Assuming that you are using unRaid 6.01, have you exported disk11? Go to shares / disk shares, click on disk 11 and make sure its exported
August 12, 201510 yr Author Community Expert Thanks. I am using 6.1 RC2. Have never used the export function for any of the 12 drives in the array. Should I do for all or just for disk 11 and 12?
August 12, 201510 yr For RC-2, You've got to first go to share settings and enable disk shares. Then you can export the individual drives (can't give you exact steps because the wife is watching a movie from the server) http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=41617.0
