What are your volume paths (host and container)?

Check spelling. Remember things are case sensitive.

Spelling is fine I double checked.

To be a bit more verbose, the actual path for my movies and TV shows is all under mnt/user/Media/ and I have folders within Media that are Movies and TV Shows that I point Plex to. I have no problem watching TV shows, but Movies don't even load and I'm stumped.

Just writing to say thanks! I've been using your Plex container (as well as Sonarr, Couch & Sab) for a few weeks and I just received my first automatic Plex update! I simply stopped the container and started it again and Plex was updated! It worked flawlessly! Thanks for all your work guys!

your welcome mate :)

plex says it needs to be done manually.

where ?

In server settings, it is always like that. Plex can't auto update itself on unraid as far I know

Hey everyone.  9.15.6 is out and when the docker updated the other day it didn't install this update.  plex says it needs to be done manually but i don't know how to do that.

Just restart the docker, it will auto update then.

I accidentally hit "Update" on the context menu (for the first time with this Docker), and ever since I cannot get Plex to start. When I check the live log, all I see is the "lsio" logo and a list of GID/UID. Nothing then ever shows up in the log, and I cannot access the WebUI. It is running but stalled.

There is a post on the hub.docker page saying that Plex has changed it's download page, which starts a redirect loop... could this be the problem?

I stopped this Docker, and started Limetech's Plex Docker (I needed to do this once before to salvage a broken lsio Plex Docker, and keep it as a backup)... This one works flawlessly.

Any thoughts?

Thanks

Apologies if this was already asked here, but how do I go from Needo's container to this one without losing data?

Make a backup copy of the needo plex appdata (shouldn't need it) and then point this plex to the same plex appdata.

Thank you.

I jut completed this..coming from the LimeTech docker and it worked perfectly.  Took a few minutes before the WebGUI would respond, but much easier than re-installing and you get to keep your metadata , playcounts and watch/not-watched status.

Just as an FYI it appears the site is down--getting HTTP 400 when trying to pull down the image.

Yep, ditto for me on the HTTP 400 error. Any quick solution to resolve this or am I dead in the water?

I just swapped out my cache drive, which required backing up the Plex application directory to the array, and then moving it back. Upon starting Plex from the new cache drive I get the below error in the log. Plex starts, but does not fully load. Any ideas?

Mar 24 09:32:00 Tower dbus[42]: [system] org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.AccessDenied: Failed to set fd limit to 65536: Operation not permitted
