Thanks for the answer. I seem to have fixed the initial problem, but will give it a go (with a backup in place in case I do something stupid) this weekend.

i have a big problem with Plex, its being going on for weeks and i cant found the solution, it crashing every time...

i cant play any live tv through plex anymore, its just buffering and crashing (even my vero 4K+ device isn't liking this...)

Can anyone help me!!????

Plex is telling you where it wrote its crash report. You should examine that and post it. It might be something you need to research on the plex forums.

Yes it is. Why are you posting a screenshot?

Are you sure that is the crash log? You should be able to just get them from that folder inside your plex appdata and open them in a text editor.

because i cant past it here, its only showing the first 3 symbols...

yep, this is one of those .dmp files

the plex media server.log is not showing anything about the crash

You can sign into your plex server from plex.tv at any time from anywhere, doesn't matter what ports it's on or any subdomain that it might be connected to .. so you're only making more work for yourself.

But you can continue to set it up, doesn't really matter. It's obviously a port issue if you're not getting outside access, and/or a forwarding issue for the domain. Do you have 32400 open? I believe that's required no matter what.

I don't have port 32400, since it's running on reverse proxy so port 1443 is open and also configured at 1443 at Plex settings.

if you are properly behind a reverse proxy you should be using port 443 and not 1443 (thats the internal port for swag)

Sorry you are right, I've just reverted back to standard port 32400. But would it be more safes or is 32400 standard good enough since it's not a directly attached login local on Plex?

32400 is the direct connection to your plex docker, then reverse is out of the game.

if you need a more safe protection is up to you, behind reverse means its only listening on the specific hostname for plex, port 32400 doesnt matter then, but i personally never heard of someone hacking plex servers ...

@linuxserver.io Would you consider adding mauimauer's patch to allow hardware transcoding with AMD GPUs, please? It seems pretty straightforward and it would mean your container would provide support for all three major GPU manufacturers.

I need some help finding where my plex docker is currently storing its data? It isn't in the appdata folder and I cannot figure out where else it would be storing it. I am worried because I have been using the Appdata Backup/Restore plugin but found out today that it hasn't been backing up Plex as it isn't storing in the correct location. Can someone give me some instructions on how to find and move it properly?

I have lots of other dockers and haven't had any issues with any of them except for Sonarr, which I had the same issue recently. I have folders and data in the appdata share for everything else.

Checked my docker plex but the version is 4.51.1

What version is the docker using?

I stopped it and restarted it and it pull the new version

I just updated to the latest version of this container and more than half of my 'on deck' shows are not showing on deck. On top of this, one series had a first episode of a new season come out today and Plex didn't put it on the deck.

I have tried changing the number of weeks on deck shows - my standard is 999, but I tried 0,1,52,99999. Even at 99999 it doesn't show all of them.

Does anyone have any ideas? On deck is great for not missing shows.

Getting this error -

Error: failed to register layer: ApplyLayer exit status 1 stdout: stderr: write /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libjq.so.1.0.4: no space left on device

Not sure what it means.
