From talking to Sparklyballs about this he's aware of a problem with pip and is looking at a possible fix, bear with us....

What happens when couchpotato updates itself, then there is a container update? Should we force couchpotato (and others like sickrage, etc.) to not automatically update themselves?

Correct, you do not want the App auto-updating itself. If CP announces to you there's an update, just restart the docker. This ensures the docker container is shutdown correctly during the restart process.
February 6, 201610 yr My guess is that this is a CP bug that it must be a non-zero number. That seems like a fair guess. Hopefully it'll be fixed at some point, but i can live with kinda-working. Thanks to both of you, mr-hexen and CHBMB!

I followed the instructions on this post: http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=45249.msg439980#msg439980 And listed that I had 2 entries from CP docker that were 18GB. I deleted the log file per the post. After roughly 90 minutes, I checked again and I see that the CP log file is already up to 323MB. Is there a way to "fix" this other than running the log deletion script? Is anyone elses log files for CP that big? I do have roughly 152 in my wanted movies list and 8 NZB indexers set up in CP. I do not use torrents w/ CP. Could it be that this is unusually high? Thanks, H.

I would COPY the needo files in case there are some differences. In fact, you could run both versions at the same time, provided you are pointing to different different /conf folders and have diferent external ports. For example.... if you files are currently in /mnt/cache/appdata/couchpotato Copy that folder so you have something like /mnt/cache/appdata/couchpotato2 POint the needo /config to /mnt/cache/appdata/couchpotato Point the linuxserver /config to /mnt/cache/appdata/couchpotato2 Remember to give them different external ports. This way, you can even copy the setting of one to the other in case the old files dont work with the new ones.
February 12, 201610 yr I had a problem with the logs growing like crazy, but it was because I left auto-update enabled. This was causing it download an update, and try to run the daemon for the new version. It could not launch because 5050 was still in use by the last process. So it just kept try to re-launch the updated version over and over constantly. I disabled the auto-update and restarted the docker and all looks good now. EDIT: Looks like this may not have had to do with auto-update, but rather restarting CPS from the WebUI. Instead, restart the docker.
February 18, 201610 yr I'm having a problem with CouchPotato passing the movie category to NZBGet so my movies aren't flagged as movies. This is causing all downloads that CouchPotato sends to NZBGet to save to the /mnt/cache/Download instead of /mnt/cache/Download/completed/Movies. However if i move the files from /mnt/cache/Download to /mnt/cache/download/Dompleted/Movies CouchPotato will post process them correctly. Here's my config for CouchPotato [nzbget] username = nzbget category = Movies delete_failed = True manual = 0 enabled = 1 priority = 0 ssl = 0 host = http://10.10.10.10:8001/ password = Here's the config in NZBGet: Category1.Name=Movies Category1.DestDir=${MainDir}/completed/Movies Category1.Unpack=yes Category1.PostScript= Category1.Aliases=movies Screenshot of docker mapping attached. I might have to go back It does work with NZBGet and Couch, so it has to be the way you've set it up. I'm working at the moment, so can't really offer much more at the moment I'm afraid.

I might have to go back Based upon your config files, it should be working (assuming ${MainDir} is set correctly). I know that it works no problems whatsoever if you don't give it a full path for the destination, and just rather set nzbget to automatically append the category to {DestDir}
February 19, 201610 yr Sorry, I've been busy with work. So the issue seems to have resolved itself...I turned off NZBGet, turned the SAB switch on, had a few SAB downloads fail cause I don't have it installed. Turned off SAB and reenabled NZBGet.. definitely a glitch in the matrix.. confuses the hell out of me but it work! NZBGet downloads are now being flagged as Movies i'm a happy camper. thanks guys

February 25, 201610 yr long time sickbeard/sonarr/sabnzbd/bittorrent/torguard user on a win10 pc. first time CP user on any platform/OS. for giggles, i installed CP and SAB dockers today. i have the two apps configured but not certain i have CP set to use my acct with toguard when using torrents from KAT or TPB. did not see where to enter torguard userid/password in CP. really need to get the (torrent, not HTTP) proxy dialed in and soon. appreciate any advice. thanks.
