[Deprecated] Linuxserver.io - CouchPotato

That's the SAB setup - LMK if there is anything else I can provide to help. Really appreciate it, and if there's a donation link somewhere let me know (if you're part of the regular group, I'll just use the one I assume is in the beginning of this post).

Thanks!

In the couchpotato setup, what is the full path for where couchpotato searches for movies.  I can only see /mnt/user/Downloads/complet then it's not visible.  Also can you grab some logs from sabnzbd and couch as well.  I don't actually use sabnzbd but you seem to have both sabnzbd and couch attempting to do the post processing, could try turning off sabnzbd.

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone has the CP docker talking to the Jackett docker? I have Jackett working, Headphones is talking to it fine. But CP spits out the following errors.

05-04 15:11:14 ERROR [hpotato.core.plugins.base] Failed opening url in TorrentPotato: http://192.168.0.250:9117/jackett/potato/torrentleech?imdbid=tt4181052&user=&passkey=xxx

If I punch the link into my web browser (inserting the API in passkey) it works fine. I am not seeing any hits in the Jackett logs so it doesn't look like CP is reaching it at all.

192.168.0.250 is my unraid boxes IP address.

Thanks,

Wob

Found my problem, I had enabled a Proxy Server in CP at some point, via Privoxy in another docker. Disabling that fixed my issue.

Just did an update, now starting with this error.

911ecbe06670ad2d31606100bc3a3e21be327edf2befda455294d7704448054f
Error response from daemon: Cannot start container 911ecbe06670ad2d31606100bc3a3e21be327edf2befda455294d7704448054f: iptables failed: iptables --wait -t nat -A DOCKER -p tcp -d 0/0 --dport 5050 -j DNAT --to-destination 172.17.0.19:5050 ! -i docker0: /usr/sbin/iptables: error while loading shared libraries: libpcap.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

The command finished successfully!

Please advise.

I'll take a look at this when I get home from work.

EDIT: Just updated mine over VPN and no problems.  Can you give us a bit more info.  Unraid version and docker setup?

Is there anything else you need?

I think I'm going to try NZBToMedia.py as I've wasted enough time on this.

You and me both...

Do you have NZBToMedia.py setup and working and could give me some instructions for the TorrentToMedia.py script? CP seems to do alright the majority of the time with getting stuff moved from SAB properly but it's torrent client support is horrendous.

I had posted a thread on the CP forums about issues with the CP renamer causing all kinds of annoyances with still seeding torrents and the renamer partially moving files (causing both my plex copy and the original copy to be unplayable/unseedable) and constantly re-processing movies that are still seeding because it thinks they are repacks of a release (even though they are exactly the same). The moderators suggestion was to use his TorrentToMedia.py script.

Should I put the script inside the docker container or will it get wiped out anytime the docker updates? How do I tell CP to use a post-processing script for just torrent downloads?

Some basic steps to get it setup would be super helpful.

Mr crap... I don't use NZBmedia.py at all and was just trying to help slimer, who left before we ever got to the root of his problem, which I'm sure was to do with his config somewhere.  He hasn't been online since April so you may not get much feedback on your request.  Good Luck nonetheless.  Love the username  ;D

Yeah it is a unique name that I picked back when I was a teenager haha. I am fairly certain my CP and Deluge configurations are correct as the majority of the time I do not have issues, the renamer grabs the media and copies things correctly. However occasionally (ie this morning) it just randomly starts to repeatedly re-process the same movies over and over and over again.

But anyways , could you tell me if it is safe to put the script in the docker container itself? I am assuming it will survive any updates as long as I don't actually delete and re-create the container?

It's safe as long as you trust the python script.  I'm not sure whether it will survive a container restart as our containers are auto-updating.  But try it and let us all know.  Others may find it useful.  If you could install it to your appdata that may help with persistence.  If that doesn't work then there may be another trick but I need to check with the ls.io docker authors to find out if it would work.  Post back here and I'll get back to you.

That all looks good.  Only thing I can think of is..

  • Clear your browser cache and cookies
  • Delete /mnt/cache/appdata/couchpotato/ and the container and try a fresh pull

Almost sounds like your cache drive (ie: your appdata share) is mounted to be read-only.

Post the logs from Couch Potato, and additionally your diagnostics

Sounds like an issue with Couchpotato rather than a docker issue to me.  Might be worth a search over in their forum...

But post how you've got your containers mappings etc setup and I'll see if anything there is amiss...

Hi,

Thanks for the quick answer :

I attach picture of my volume maping

I clear all the log, try to click on one movie as done, and the other one delete, then I refresh, and those log are error after I did that

I have a very annoying problem with Couch Potatoes.

It download and move and rename movie without any problem.

The issue is that all the movie I download stay in the WANTED List.

I click Delete, refresh and movie still there

I click Marked as done, refresh and movie still there

help?

Sounds like an issue with Couchpotato rather than a docker issue to me.  Might be worth a search over in their forum...

But post how you've got your containers mappings etc setup and I'll see if anything there is amiss...

Was having some issues where CouchPotatoe was unable to show the update status and was wanting to be updated constantly.  So I killed the container and went to rebuild it.  Here's the error I'm getting when I add the container from scratch

Thanks, looks like it's time to start a new docker.img again.  Might be a good time to migrate from/apps to /appsdata as well
