Hi,

 

I can see my Usb boot device in the menu as Flash sda

 

How to add it to my Shares, so i can copy files to it ( example new Unraid version) without having to remove my sub stick from the box.

 

 

Your sig says 5.05 but you have posted this in v6 support. Which is it?

 

Both versions have something in the webGUI to do what you want. Try clicking on the flash drive and see if you get a page to let you do this.

I see under boot device, under flash.. / Smb settings i have it set to

Name: Flash

export yes

public..

 

I can view the files on the USB boot flash when I click on the Folder icon under boot device

 

but I dont see it in my Shares tab or SMB network view from other PC's

 

I must be doing something obviously wrong..

Since you're on beta12 I don't imagine many people will have an example handy they can consult.
