pinion
I have an old school two tuner HDhomerun and would like opinions on what docker to use to utilize it to use as a PVR. I also have Chromecast, fire stick, roku, raspberry pi. I've just never been able to setup the HDhomerun with anything that worked reliably. Anyone have any suggestions or guides? Link to comment
CHBMB
Well, you've got three choices TVHeadEnd - Docker or Plugin MythTV Docker I don't have a homerun and ignore the Mediabuild stuff in my signature, you don't need it, but check out the other links and you've not got anything to lose by trying them all and seeing what works best. I currently use TVHeadEnd, but have setup MythTV, just stuck with TVHeadEnd because it seems to integrate better with Kodi for me and I'm more familiar with it. I know that's not an answer per se, but might help get you started mate. Link to comment
lovingHDTV
One new option is SageTV, it was just released to the public domain by Google, and there is already an unRaid docker in the works. david Link to comment

pinion
Make that 5 choices... My bad... I actually have a tvheadend docker and it found some channels. It doesn't have the right station numbers but I can open the stream in VLC. Trying to figure out the rest is something I should do. Suggestions for frontends? Link to comment
CHBMB
I'm unashamedly a Kodi fanboy! Integrates well with TVHeadEnd. Link to comment
CHBMB
Plus there's Openelec for a standalone "appliance" feel on a dedicated HTPC. Nice & stable too, finally my wife admits that our setup is better than those with satellite or cable. WAF - never underestimate it. Link to comment

pinion
I'm going to move this thread to general support. But I'm specifically looking to use Docker containers to utilize my HDHomerun. This is an outrage!!! Link to comment
