THANK YOU

Shall I just be the first to say thank you for creating a subforum for the support thread.  It was so easy to get lost in this forum.

It was something that was long overdue.  Finally we forced ourselves to sit down and work this out.  Yeah, it meant breaking from product development / R&D for a bit, but it was well worth it.  We'll make further refinements as time goes on.

I agree with Sean, this is a good step forward, look at it this way Jon, Unraid is a "Package" and an often underestimated part of any technical package is the support available.

Unraid is a brilliant OS and does so much nowadays I'm not even sure what it is anymore, it pretty much runs my house, but it's forums ARE, and will continue to be, a very good USP and therefore worth investing a little time in.

QTF QFT  ;) (I learned something new today!)

Just an FYI, if you're going to use QFT, it should go right after someone else's quote, otherwise you're quoting yourself ;-).

All joking aside, I couldn't agree more with your points above.  I definitely think a very unique aspect to unRAID is our desire to support folks in doing whatever it is they want to do with their hardware.  Want to run apps?  Sure!  Want to run VMs?  Sure!  Want to use your box as a NAS, server, and a desktop, all in one?  Sure!  It all starts with a community that's willing to lend a hand in supporting all this too, which the competition doesn't seem to have.
