Possible to prevent VM editor from changing VNC port back to auto?

Featured Replies

I have each of my VM set to a specific VNC port. When I edit the VM configuration using the GUI, the VNC port would change back to auto. Any chance there is a way to hard set the VNC port?

How did you set them to a specific port to begin with?  XML edit?

yes, xml edit.

Once a VM is edited with the XML editor, you cannot use the GUI editor without wiping out your custom edits.  We will need to add a warning to the XML editor page in order to make sure folks are aware of this limitation.

To add, if you post a feature request in the development category, this is something we could probably add to the gui editor in the future.
