deaerator
I created my first VM with ubuntu server. I was planning to turn it into a gaming server for steam. Curious if its possible to get an ip address from my dhcp server off the router. What its spitting out is not part of my network Link to comment
CHBMB
It is possible. Did you create a bridge in the settings section for your VM to use? Not at home at the moment so can't recall exactly how to take it from there but that's the first step. Link to comment

jonp
In the settings page there is two options one is "VIRTBR0" and "DOCKER0". Current setting is VIRTBR0. Goto Settings -> Network Settings with the array stopped. Enable the network bridge. Start the array. Now you will see another option in addition to virbr0 and docker0 called br0. Select that one.
