I was wondering if it's possible to use a usb hard drive or hard drive dock with drives to create a cache pool ?

    At this time, unRAID only supports the use storage devices attached via SATA/SAS/SCSI (or IDE if you still have a system with that).  USB devices are not supported for anything other than the boot device.
