August 30, 201510 yr My couchpotato upgraded a couple of weeks ago and now downloads are not working. The logs point to the version of OpenSSL. I'm thinking of upgrading OpenSSL but can't seem to find any direction on how. Anyone been through this?
September 10, 201510 yr Author So, upgraded OpenSSL and still no luck, still seeing the following in the logs after every search 09-09 17:27:01 DEBUG [hpotato.core.plugins.base] Failed getting cache: Traceback (most recent call last): AttributeError: '_socketobject' object has no attribute 'set_tlsext_host_name' My reading is telling me to now upgrade pyopenssl. With this I'm completely stuck. Any help would be appreciated.
September 10, 201510 yr Your best option by far is to upgrade to v6. It's much more secure, and the CouchPotato Docker and plugins already have what you need. Is there some reason why you don't want to? Why not examine the Upgrading to UnRAID v6 guide.
September 10, 201510 yr Author I have considered the move to 6 but know that it's a pretty significant change. Other than the problem I'm having everything is working so well, I'd hate to break things and have to commit hours to fixing.
September 10, 201510 yr I have considered the move to 6 but know that it's a pretty significant change. It is, but sooner or later you will need to upgrade. Support is getting harder and harder for older versions, and there are security vulnerabilities in all unRAID versions before v6.1.
