120GB btrfs Cache drive full yet has only 22GB of data

Featured Replies

I know that likely btrfs is to blame.  But I have some images that got moved to the array, and now I can't copy them back, even thought the cache has 97gb free and the VM image I am copying is only 30gb.  Cache drive is 120gb SSD.

I wish it were easier to make the cache drive XFS....  It defaults to btrfs now.

Will I need to reformat the drive to fix this issue?

Or is there a way to fix this btrfs drive?

Try the scrub command (click on the Cache drive on the Main screen, with the array started).

I *think* all you have to do to reformat it is stop the array, click on the Cache drive and change the format, then start the array.  Or something close to that.  Copy off anything you want saved of course.
