September 3, 201510 yr Can some one please help with a syslog of a drive that just went off line? Is this something that needs to be replaced? Thanks, Lev syslog-2015-09-03.zip
September 3, 201510 yr Author OK. Thanks. Attached the report. By the way, I've moved everything important off of that disk, so I can safely remove it, if necessary. smart.txt
September 4, 201510 yr Looks OK to me. Maybe check connections. You will have to rebuild it to get rid of the redball. If you want to remove it instead, you will have to do New Config, reassign all drives except that one, and rebuild parity. Be sure you assign all drives correctly, especially parity. You don't want to accidentally write parity to one of your data disks.
September 4, 201510 yr Author I was actually just going to do that. Remove the disk and restart the array without it. However, I do not see an option to rebuild a new parity. Where is that option? Oh, just realized that it's new config under utilities. Forgot.
