[Solved]80gb Intel SSD Cache Drive showing 105mb capacity.

Featured Replies

Hi,

I've done a search but everything i found said unraid should just format the cache drive ready to go.

My problem is I have added a 80gb Intel 320 Series SSD as a cache drive on unraid 6.1.0 but when i bring it online it's reporting a file system of NTFS with a size of 105mb.

I have had a look through the gui and found no way i can pre clear it or do anything like that.

Is there something I can do to resolve this?

many thanks

I used fdisk to delete the partition, but adding it as a cache disk saw unraid report it as unmountable.

Unmountable usually means it’s no formatted, it should appear in Unraid below the Start / Stop button with the option to format it.

Argh!  For some reason i never thought to look there, didn't scroll down and i'm on a tiny screen and couldn't see it.

many thanks for your help sir :-)
