Reordering disks

My servers run unraid 6.1.2. The array disks are housed in SM CSE-M35 cages. I want to group the disks together. Can I take all disks out of the cages and place them back in the cages in the order I want them. Will the disks after this operation be assigned to the correct slots?

    Disks in unraid are assigned by their serial number it does not matter where you put them in your physical hardware they will always be the same unraid slot number they are now.
