Icons missing on dashboard but they exist in the docker page

Featured Replies

Hi bonienl, limetech,

since upgrading to 6.2 am i missing some icons on the dashboard page from dockers that i build myself

before they always had that illuminated question mark or dark question mark depending if the docker was running or not

now this question mark is still on the docker page but not on the dashboard page

see screenshots

so i guess there is some small issue there ...

A few questions:

Have you tried clearing your browser cache?

If you edit the container and turn on advanced view, what does it say for the Icon field?  Is the path inside accurate and reflect a real file?

Did you provide an Icon for the containers you built yourself when you added them through the webGui?

A few questions:

Have you tried clearing your browser cache? Yes Repeatedly

If you edit the container and turn on advanced view, what does it say for the Icon field? nothing there ... i don't really need an icon and on the docker page i get that question mark anyway ... all what i really expect is to get that same question mark icon on the dashboard

Is the path inside accurate and reflect a real file? no file there see above

Did you provide an Icon for the containers you built yourself when you added them through the webGui? nope... again why the docker page show that grey background question mark but the dashboard shows nothing ?

Will attempt to recreate tomorrow.

hi sacretagent, bit of a long shot but it is possible that your underlying "icon not present" problem  is linked to the bug i just posted about, are you by any chance defining a particular tag for the docker image, if so it most probably is the same bug, link below:-

on the other hand it could simply be that you dont have an icon for those docker containers :-), oh and btw i see the same issue your posting about here, default icon shown in docker tab, dashboard apps view shows broken image for the icon
