I really want to get s3 working but no one has been able to with this card so I'd like to trade it for an LSI based card in IT mode: Like the Dell h310, IBM M1015, Intel, etc.

Couple of questions, do you have the cables that go from the card to 8 separate hard drives (dont know the name). And, will this cad work in one of thos PCIE-4x slots on the motherboard, or just on a plain single pcie slot?

I do have them, but I was going to save them for use with an LSI based card.

 

The card should work in and PCIe 4x or greater slot, probably won't work in a 1x slot.
