(stupid .AppleDB files) The newest release(s) has a setting to show and allow deleting of . files, so if you turn that on you should be able to clean out the share properly and be able to delete it normally.

September 23, 201510 yr Author I don't see any thing when I connect through smb (on mac), still shows 0 items in folder. Only way I know how to do it is log in on the actual machine and delete them.

If the "hide dot files" is set to no, and they don't show up, then I think you need to file a defect report. That issue was the main reason for the change to be made, so if it doesn't solve the issue, then I'm sure limetech wants to know about it.

Maybe the wording should be changed?
