September 23, 201510 yr Hi All, I have done quite a bit of searching and reading prior to posting. What I am looking for is an SNMP manager that can be run on unRAID, preferably in Docker rather than as a plugin. I have seen heaps of threads where people are seeking to enable SNMP data from unRAID to a manager such as PRTG, but I want to run the manager on unRAID to monitor all the other devices in my LAN. Does such a thing exist? Apologies if my question contains some fundamental flaws, I haven't used SNMP before so am just starting to explore this. Thanks
September 28, 201510 yr There's a beta docker for Observium which is one of many SNMP based network monitoring tools. No idea if or how well it works. Since you're new to SNMP try googling "SNMP MIB Browser" for some free windows based tools from various companies. The GUI can help with the learning curve. When you get deep into it SNMP mostly looks like .3.4.5.562.21.345.2 which can be daunting.
