Long time no chat... curious what I should do about upgrading :)

So my unRaid array is still running the original software release, and humming along without issue.  I'd like to upgrade to version 3.  Is there anything I need to be aware of before I do it, or should I just go for it?

Just be sure to follow the upgrade instructions and shut the current server down by stopping the array first and then powering down.

(Only mistake I made..I did not stop the array from the web-page first. Instead I logged in via telnet and issues a poweroff command.  It didn't mark the array as stopped cleanly, so it re-calculated parity after the upgrade, even though it did not need to re-calculate parity)

Upgrade instructions are here: (in case you did not find them on Tom's site)

I made a simillar mistake.  I was starting/stopping the array to investigate the 3hr time jump problem and issued an "init 0" command as root from the command prompt.  unRAID clearly didn't like it and started to recalculate parity on startup.  Interestingly though, when I stopped the array and then shut it down from the web page (interrupting the parity recalculation), the process didn't start up again after I booted up the server.
