cablecutter
Hi All, I'd like to be able to access unRaid folders (located on my home network) from work. From home I am able to view the unRaid folder as I would any other windows folder (I believe using SMB). The folder shows up under "Network -> Tower -> 'MyShare' etc" That's great! Now, how would I extend this user experience to remote use cases? Would I have to create a VPN into my private network? Is there an application/plugin which allows a remote folder to be viewed as if it were a normal windows folder? I've tried OwnCloud - but the desktop app wants to sync everything locally. Since i have several TB of files, this won't work. I'd like to be able to view the files remotely, easily, not sync the entire folder to every connected machine. The webapp for owncloud is just too slow and requires the files be downloaded in order to edit them. Quote Link to comment
