Jaster
Hello, I am converting my drives (rfx -> xfs) as described in several threads around here. I am having some issues with user shares - Hope someone can help me with those. Here we go: 1. Whenever I format a drive, my shares (some, not all) seem to be disappearing. The data remains (browsing the disk to make sure), but I am loosing the shares to it. How do I restore those? 2. Every disk I format with xfs appars to be shared as well - How do I prevent that? 3. After the last disk convert, the docker share got lost. What do I need to mount to get it back up (default settings)? Best Regards Link to comment

itimpi
You might want to look on the individual disks to see of you have folder names like 'disk1', 'disk2' etc. on them. If so this will cause problems as they interfere with the shares corresponding to each disk drive. The easiest way to check this would be using the 'mc' (Midnight Commander) command from a console/telnet session. If you find any such folders then rename them to something that does not clash. trurl
check my 2nd screenshot - renamed, but still a mess. Your 2nd screenshot pretty much tells the story I think. Recommend you use mc and move files/folders until you get it like you want it. Either move only between disks, or only between user shares. Don't mix disks and user shares when moving or you are likely to get the User Share Copy Bug. Link to comment
