Ashe
Has anyone tried to pass through the below device to a windows 10 VM? http://www.kensington.com/us/us/4491/k33970us/usb-30-docking-station-with-d#.VgvoAOioVDs On editing the VM, it allows the display link to be selected for USB devices to be passed through, but on starting the VM, windows does not show the device. archedraft
I do not own this device but I have had very good luck getting things to be seen by my Win10 VM by passing though a USB controller. Everything I plug into the USB hub on that controller has so far been seen by my Win10 VM. Might be worth a shot if you have not already tried. http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=36768.0 Quote Link to comment
Ashe
Thanks Archedraft I've been avoiding passing through a USB controller, as the MB controls all 6 usb3's from one controller and I was waiting until LT implement a GUI selection for the USB controller to pass through (I think I read that was on the todo list) Maybe I will have a go at it. billington.mark
Pci-e USB cards are dirt cheap.. so that could be an option if you dont want to pass through the integrated mobo controller. I pass through a USB3.0 card to Win10 and it works great. Quote Link to comment
