September 30, 201510 yr Hi, I'm Running Ver. 6.1.2. Coming home from work I've found Parity device is disabled with little x next to it. SMART was OK. Tried to do what I used to do on my prevoius Ver. 4.7: disconnect the drive and then connect it again to start a parity check/rebuild. It doesn't work for me in this version. What am I'm doing wrong or what am I'm missing? I also tried typing mdcmd check CORRECT from the command line. didn't helped either. Thanks

September 30, 201510 yr Author Replying to the question about write to the disk failed: No. I don't have the time right now to figure out why. I guess it will "bite" me again... Will look for it then... Thanks
