kristisdad
I was really on a roll today! Got Windows 10 Pro up and running, both GPU, keyboard, and mouse, all working like a charm. (Thanks, JonP, super videos!), then I hit the brick wall. I want to copy DVD's to my TV and movie shares using makeMKV. Downloaded makeMKV, plugged in my Samsung Blu-ray / DVD ROM by USB and voila, nothing! My Win10 VM gives me a selection for my Samsung player (not under Samsung though), and I check it, however, Win10 and makeMKV fails to see it. I've read though many of the posts referencing Win7 and qemu(sp) 2.2, I notice mine is 2.3 now. Anybody having any luck with a Blu-ray / DVD ROM, Windows10 and makeMKV yet? Would an internal Sata connected DVD ROM work? Don't really care about the Bray as the files are too large any way. Most posts seem to have let the subject die. Any help's appreciated as always! ~ Dave Link to comment
saarg
I think you have to pass through a whole USB controller to the VM to get the pass through to work. Or you can go the easy way and install my Makemkv container that you will find in my signature Link to comment
